You did everything better if not best ,but installed DID drive chain dry fromproper way is to dip the chain in molten grease for better lubrication. I don't know how to lube the chain in its encloser. This chain enclosure will protect the chain & sprockets for long haul. From the Elements.

The turbocharger that Honda used on their 500/650 twin back in the day was much smaller than the one you are using. If I recall correctly, the impeller was about the diameter of a nickel. The turbo HAS to be small so that the exhaust gases (minimal as they are) can actually make the rotating assembly spin fast enough to create usable boost.

Just on building a flattracker from a pitbike to race, is the rear 17inch wheel a bought inn or did youse have to put a hub and spokes in a front rim? Wanting both feonnt and rear to be 17 inch so exsploring options cheers

Oh wow… I was confused by the picture in the title of the vid but after watching muttering to myself,” what the hell?” I ve got to say WELL DONE!! I didn’t know where you were going but damn!!! I’d say you created a Montessa looking vintage hybrid! Not sure of the gearing, steering geometry, suspension setup or how it would ride on a track… but looks and sounds great! As mentioned by others… I’d be VERY careful if you do take it on a track…. Shade tree mechanic stuff isn’t the same as properly engineered parts. But still a neat project!!!

My bike with this turbo on it has 60psi oil pressure. I have a 1mm restrictor in the oil supply line which is required to stop the oil overcoming the seals in the turbo. No problems on the track or dyno.

Comments about a single not working with a turbo are ill-informed. Good kits are available for scooters although often used on larger engines. I have the same turbo on a 125cc although it is a twin and it's working reasonably well. It's obvious from the video that further tuning is required. Speaking from experience, this will take forever and drive you crazy. I don't see why the carb wouldn't work and it should be a lot easier to sort than EFI. I have a large turbo bike with draw-through carb and the twin is EFI and the carb was 100s of times easier to tune
